Lakota 202

This Lakota townhome is located across the street from the entry to the base of Winter Part Resort / Old Town, and a short 4 mile drive to Town of Winter Park. The main level flows nicely from the living room with gas fireplace to the dining area and kitchen with all the necessities. On this floor you’ll find a powder room and primary bedroom with king bed and private en-suite bathroom. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms and shared full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed while the other offers a twin over twin bunk. The lowest/entry level has an attached garage and laundry room. You’ll find its spacious and comfortable for one or even two families.

The smart Blu Ray player in living room gives you access to Netflix and other streaming services (with your personal account). Unit does NOT have cable (basic local channels in living room only). Netflix (with personal account), etc. in primary bedroom.

Parking for 2 vehicles.

Winter Park Resort is just 1.1 miles away so you can enjoy it with family. The FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 3.7 miles away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 5.3 miles away at Fraser the town of Fraser.

NO SMOKING or PETS allowed.

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

For larger groups, we offer additional units at Lakota, including two 3-bedroom townhomes (on of them right across the street from this property), a 4-bedroom home, and two 5-bedroom homes. For more information, feel free to contact us. Your perfect Rocky Mountain getaway awaits!

We strongly encourage guests traveling to Grand County to keep up with the latest updates regarding fire restrictions in our area. We do not allow any open fire on property. Use of propane BBQ is allowed

  This is a cozy rental in the Lakota subdivision. Simple accommodations. We needed a tutorial to run the tv but finally figured it out. Provided are towels & coffee, tp in the bathroom and a couple rolls of paper towels. Kitchen had everything we needed. We brought our own food and enjoyed our week. Wait for shuttle was approximately 30 minutes so we drove down to the resort & rented a locker for skis at the base.

  Location was great, view was fabulous! The completely stocked kitchen had everything we needed. We had a small issue with the front door latch, called and it was fixed promptly! Only downside was we rented this location with hopes of using the soaking jetted tub, however, when my wife turned on the jets the tub filled with little black chunks. We cleaned and tried again 2 more times but we were unable to get everything blown out of the lines so we just quit trying. Didn’t report while on site because we didn’t want issues with maintenance during our stay. Otherwise this was a perfect stay in a perfect location!!

We are sorry about the jetted tub we are trying to figure out how to get this fixed. Think the issue is that people are using soap / bubble bath when also using the jets, which causes "things" to end up in the lines.

  We stayed for 8 nights. To be honest, I didn’t want to review the property as it wasn’t great. There was a unique smell in the home that I can only describe as cat pee. The carpet near the main floor bathroom looked like they tried to clean it just before our arrival and was wet. That smell lingered everyday we were there - even with the doors open. Location was good. Amenities were good. But it would not book again.

  This was a perfect place for our long weekend getaway. The descriptions was exactly on spot with location, rooms and all the amenities. The house is in great shape and spotless. Had great contact with company making check in and out a breeze. We will recommend this house to our friends and family. There is a large selection of restaurants in the area to catch anyone's tastebuds. Randi's is an excellent restaurant to eat at. Or the kitchen is fully furnished to cook any meal in house.   This condo exceeded expectations. It was perfectly clean upon arrival. I thought the overall feeling of the condo was amazing. It was cozy, homey, well-decorated and pristine. This is a great rental for families with young children. I loved the assortment of board games and family friendly DVD movies. Also, there is a high-chair, baby gate and a little collection of toddler books.
  
  I really appreciated the fact that each bedroom had its own fan and humidifier if needed. As a person who has to sleep with a fan, I loved this! Also, my family loved the assortment of pillows to sleep on- all different sizes and firmness/softness to choose from. It's the little things like this that make a difference for me.

  My family rented this property mostly because of the location. We had friends with us and wanted them to experience a stay near the resort. When we checked in there was a broken blind in the living room hanging crooked. Also, the stove was a mess. So there needed to be more attention to cleaning. The overall condition was good, and the property was comfortable for all of us. We loved the location.

  Great town home, located literally across the street from the mountain. Place was very comfortable and nice to come back to after a day on the mountain. My only complaint would be that there was not much selection of television channels. Discovery channel and TBS was about the only selection and a DVD player with no movies. I definitely recommend this place to stay and would stay here on future trips.
