This is a comfortable 2 bed 3 bath condo with LOTS of room for 8. It is located in the J building just seconds to the pool and outdoor hot tubs. This unit features a newly remodeled kitchen with plenty of counter space to prepare a meal. The open floor plan allows everyone to mingle while being spaced out between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. The living room has a gas fireplace, a 55 inch flat screen TV, and Murphy bed. The primary bedroom is spacious and open with a king size bed, TV, access to the large balcony, and open bath area. Moving on to the second bedroom, you’ll pass by a full hall bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and twin over twin bunk with attached bath. A washer and dryer can be found in the unit for your convenience.

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

NO SMOKING or PETS allowed.

Iron Horse is conveniently located right off the corridor trail (1/4 mile from the new Gondola) and base activities. Easily return to the condo for lunch or to warm up.

For Winter reservations:
Iron Horse is located on the corridor run that connects the base of Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park.
This corridor run (marked as a green run on the trail map) is about 1 mile long. Base of Mary Jane sits higher (elevation wise) than base of Winter Park.
From Iron Horse you ski down 1/4 mile to base of Winter Park, and to ski home you must go over the Mary Jane saide to catch the corridor run. Iron Horse is located 3/4 mile down the corridor run from Mary Jane.
To get to the base of Mary Jane, you will have to be able to manage a blue trail. (just fyi)
You do also have the option to use the free shuttle offered by Town of Winter Park. Iron Horse Resort is on the “green line

For added convenience a full-service ski shop with rental options is located on the property. Washers and dryers are available on the second floor of the D building. Level 5 in the D building provides a room for ski storage and ski-in/ski-out access (green corridor). Locks for ski racks can be purchased at front desk for $35. The free Lift bus also picks up frequently at the main entrance for easy shuttle service to the Village.

This property allows for one vehicle in outside parking only. Parking is on a first come first serve basis. Additional vehicles are not permitted. There is a fee for lost parking passes.

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

Winter Park Resort is only 0.6 miles away and the FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The Foundry is 4.6 miles away, it has a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store at Fraser is just 6.1 miles away.

Please note if you are arriving by train, there is no facility on-site for luggage storage.

  Beautiful two bedroom condo that was very nicely furnished with a well-kept kitchen. Condo has been updated relatively recently and includes plenty of space for eight people. It is not quite ski-in, ski out, but it’s pretty close. It’s a pretty easy walk to the slope, although it took a couple minutes to figure out how to get there through a different building and up the elevator.Especially easy to ski back at the end of the day. The only downside is the checkout time is 10 AM and you were required to leave your parking pass in the condo. We wanted to keep skiing and got hassled because our car was parked in the lot for a couple hours after check out. Every other condo I have stayed at house somewhere for you to continue parking for the rest of the day as long as you leave before new guest check-in.

Great place! The only issue we had was the outside stairs were never shoveled and they became extremely icy.

  When we arrived our door code did not work. I called and it was fixed within minutes. The condo is very comfortable for a family. The kitchen was well stocked, furniture comfortable, clean and well maintained. They have hummingbird feeders and bird seed on the deck and we enjoyed bird watching for the week. The one issue we had was with the wi-fi. We had friends in the same building that experienced the same wi-fi issues.

  A great place to stay very close to Winter Park Village, shuttle, 3 minute drive, or 10 minute walk. Spacious 2 bedroom with large living room and kitchen. Jacuzzi and warm pool enjoyed by dad and kids at night. Wifi worked. Bed comfortable. We wer 4 but sleeps more. Good for larger family as well or two families with small number of children. Fairly priced as we shopped around.

However, previous guests often leave spices and foil/plastic bags. We do provide garbage bags. Next time just let us know if you need anything and we can usually have it over in no time.

  We greatly enjoyed the location (quiet), heated swimming pool, washer/dryer in the condo, fully stocked kitchen, and multiple bathrooms. The only things I would say could be improved are the master bedroom bed (my back ached every night), there was a lot of light in the master bedroom at night (motion light somewhere close caused light even with the blinds drawn), and the carpet needs to be cleaned throughout due to use. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.
