Trailhead Lodge 724

This beautifully upgraded 2 bed 2 bath condo overlooks Hideaway Park and downtown Winter Park. Trailhead Lodge is located in the hottest spot in town within walking distance to all the downtown shops, restaurants, Hideaway Park (concerts), sledding hill and the Visitor Center- it’s in the heart of Winter Park!

Upon entry of this second floor unit (has elevator access), you’ll find a large closet to store you luggage and winter coats. The first bedroom is to your left with a queen over queen bunkbeds. A full bathroom is located right across the hall. Further in you’ll find yourself in an open, modern kitchen and living room area. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to make an elaborate meal and all stainless steel appliances. The island has bar seating for two, but the beautiful dining table can seat six. The private balcony is great for enjoying summer concerts or just a peaceful mountain moment. The living room has a gas fireplace and large windows to let in natural light. Off the living area is the primary bedroom which has a king size bed and attached bath with large glass shower.
Each bedroom has a portable AC unit to cool things off in the summer.

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

This complex has one of the only outdoor year-round heated swimming pools. Clubhouse with pool room, kitchen, workout room and fire pit are included in the amenities.

If you are traveling with family or friends, we have some more units at Trailhead, one of them on the first floor of this building. Email, text or call for more information.

We strongly encourage guests traveling to Grand County to keep up with the latest updates regarding fire restrictions in our area. We do not allow any open fire on property. Use of propane BBQ is allowed

For larger parties: We also have six other 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom at Trailhead Lodge!

Please note if you are arriving by train, there is no facility on-site for luggage storage.

Winter Park Resort is just 4.1 miles away so you can enjoy it with family. The FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 1.1 miles away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 2.6 miles away in the town of Fraser.

  Been coming to Winter Park for many years. Overall we enjoyed our stay at this condo unit, but there may be some Pro's and Con's that may help others decide if it fits their needs:
  Pro's: (1) the location was great for us, right next to the sledding hill and an easy walk to dinner & shopping venues; (2) overall, the unit was clean and well maintained; (3) there was a King bed in each bedroom; (4) nice granite countertops; (5) heating worked great even with below zero temps outside & (6) nice club house & pool. Con's: (1) Inadequate storage space - master bedroom had no closet for hanging clothes and only 2 drawers - occupants of that bedroom was unable to unpack for the week (this was the 1st time we ever had that issue), the other bedroom was OK; (2) Ski equipment space was also limited to about 2 skiers and didn't appear very waterproof; (3) Minor problems - ice maker didn't work, but they had ice trays, and ceiling fan was very dusty. Grand County Restaurants: Several are good, (I won't say great), our favorites are - Randi's (Winter Park), Maverick's (Granby), and Sagebrush (Grand Lake).
  Ski areas: While Winter Park is world class, we also like Granby Ranch, an old school drive up resort that is a great value for beginner and intermediate skiers.

  The condo provided plenty of functional space for my young family of five. The close proximity to park and trails were ideal along with an enjoyable swimming pool and hot tub clubhouse. Some updates are probably needed for flooring in condo and minor updates of furniture decor in clubhouse.

  Nice, clean, spacious condo. Close walk to town and restaurants. Two complaints: Construction going on right outside patio door that was loud. Second, the hot tub was very dirty. Possibly because it was very busy for spring break. Needs to be cleaned more often. Would return this summer. Concert season will be easy to enjoy from the patio.

Unfortunately we have no control over the complex common area hot tub maintenance as it is managed by a separate company, however this is not a common issue we have heard of.
