Zephyr Mountain Lodge # 2222

This ski in/ski out updated 2 bedroom/ 2 bath condo at Zephyr Mountain Lodge is located right at the base of Winter Park Resort. The primary bedroom features a king bed, flatscreen TV, and en-suite full bath. There’s plenty of room even with the queen bed and twin over twin bunkbed also has en-suite bathroom. You will enjoy fabulous views of the Continental Divide, pond/ice skating rink, and The Village from your private balcony. Condo has a PlayStation 3 and games to enjoy after a day in the mountains. Washer and dryer in unit for added convenience!

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.
Zephyr Mountain Lodge is about as close as you can sleep to the chairlifts and the gondola without camping outside!! Zephyr has four hot tubs, a fitness room, heated underground parking, ski lockers, onsite ski shops and close proximity to restaurants and shopping. There is also a nearby ice skating rink. Coin operated washers and dryers are located on every floor. Two portable A/C units can be located in the bedroom closets. Unit is located on 2nd floor in the Riverside Building and fac The Village & Continental Divide.

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

The resort base village includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 4.1 miles away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 5.6 miles away in the town of Fraser.

  Our family of four enjoyed our trip immensely. Everything was near perfect. Condo was clean and roomy. Could use upgrade eventually to mattresses, tub and shower but otherwise everything was perfect. Sofa was comfy. I would also suggest having a book of menus in the condo for village restaurants and also a village map for use. We really enjoyed Denos restaurant in town and the little breakfast joint next to pizza pedlr. Can’t wait to return.

  This condo was super cute and cozy. My only complaint was that it was really dark inside. Either I couldn’t find the light switch, or a lot of bunks needed to be replaced. Nonetheless, we still felt comfortable. The village is adorable, but the fact that it closes so early is definitely an inconvenience. Be prepared to either cook a lot, or have to drive into town to grab a bite to eat.

  Winter Park Mgmt was incredibly helpful in working with my booking of this property (which was booked through Vrbo). I spoke with a representative several times on the phone to sort out the dates of my stay, and she was incredibly kind and always available when I called.
  We have stayed at the Zephyr many times, but this was our first time in this unit. It was totally awesome. The master has a king bed. The second room has a queen bed as well as a bunk bed. This was so great because we have 3 children, and this set up allowed for everyone to have a bed! This unit also has a washer/dryer which is a huge bonus. The balcony faces the ice skating rink and Lime restaurant, which was fun to look down upon at night. Highly recommend this property! We would love to stay there again.

  Zephyr Mountain Lodge unit 2222 is short distance to the base Gondola in Winter Park. It is a perfect 2 bedroom condo with attached bathrooms. Plenty of room in the kitchen, dining room & living room . Plenty of storage & sleeping space. We ate breakfast, lunch & dinner in the condo & had all cooking utensils, plenty of plate, silverware & glasses. It was a great family ski/boarding experience. Simply go to the provided ski locker, grab your gear & walk out to the Gondola. Wonderful experience & great communication, follow up & support from Winter Park Management. Their team exceeded all expectations.

  We were very happy with this rental for a week at Winter Park. We fit a family of 5 very comfortably. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and nicely furnished. We loved the extras, such as lots of towel racks, enlarged coat rack/shoe bench & the washer/dryer in the condo! The location was super convenient to the elevators, ski lockers, and exit to the lifts. A couple maintenance issues were quickly resolved. This unit is on the second floor facing the center of the Village, so there can be some noise from people walking around in the evenings. The skating pond is visible from the windows. We would love to stay in this unit the next time we visit!

  Other than a few minor details the room was perfect for our short stay. It was very clean and looked just like the photos. Being at the end of the hallway, it was fairly quiet and private. And as far as access to the skiing and other activities, it's the best location you can get in Winter Park!
  My biggest complaint wasn't about the room but the hot tub was fairly disappointing. It wasn't very hot and the jets didn't appear to be working properly(the water coming out of them was cold and were more like bubbles blowing than streaming out properly).
  The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of a crockpot and there were no mixing bowls. If we had been staying more than two days that would have been more of an issue.
  The beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets available. We were supplied with plenty of towels but be aware that you need to use those towels at the hot tub. There aren't any towels available there that I could find.
  Also, if anyone in your party has mobility issues(I was sensitive to this because I am still nursing a broken leg) neither of the showers are walk-in. They are both tubs with showers.
  All in all we had a great stay and would gladly rent this unit again!

  if you want a 2B located in a great location, this is it! We were there for my son's baseball tournament, but when we weren't playing ball, we were playing on the alpine slide, maze, having a drink out in the beautiful evening weather, or having dinner.
  The management also helped us get our iPad that we left behind after checkout. The only thing I would have wanted was an extra fan for both bedrooms on warm summer nights. The windows did not have screens so mosquitoes could get in.

  Our stay at Zephyr Mountain Lodge was great. Booking was super easy, the key showed up in the mail a few weeks before we flew out. The condo was clean and spacious. Didn't even have to check in - we just went straight up to the room. Plenty of extra keys.
  The lodge itself is very close to a handful of restaurants, shops, ski rental places, Starbucks, and most importantly, the ski lifts. From the slope-side door of the hotel to the lift seat was about 2 minutes. Another 10 and you are halfway up the mountain.
  Skiing in WP is a blast - routes for everyone and not very busy.
  I recommend staying here.

  Unit was in perfect location and had everything one would need for a stay at Winter Park.
  Nick was easy to reach even on Saturday and Sunday when we decided to stay an extra night because fresh snow was on the way. This unit was not available so he found us another unit for the additional night. He even let us check out after skiing since the unit was not rented for Monday night. That was huge so we could get up and hit the slopes and not worry about packing up to check out! Whenever we plan another trip to WP we will give WP Management a call.

  Great location (walk to/from Zephyr lift), quiet at night, and great lodging. We really enjoyed staying at this location. The local shop (limited groceries) and restaurants were short walk and met our needs (no need to drive anywhere). Typical with VRBO, the additional fees (booking, service, damage waiver, cleaning)were an additional cost (18%, 3 days)to base rental price.
