Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Continental Divide from this fourth floor remodeled ski in / ski out studio. This unit features a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, fridge, microwave. Enjoy all the fresh mountain air from the private balcony. This studio sleeps 4 with a Murphy bed and sleeper sofa. A high table with 4 high chairs and door to your private balcony.

Iron Horse is conveniently located right off the corridor trail (1/4 mile from the new Zephyr Gondola) and base activities. Easily return to the condo for lunch or to warm up.

For Winter reservations:
Iron Horse is located on the corridor run that connects the base of Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park.
This corridor run (marked as a green run on the trail map) is about 1 mile long. Base of Mary Jane sits higher (elevation wise) than base of Winter Park.
From Iron Horse you ski down 1/4 mile to base of Winter Park, and to ski home you must go over the Mary Jane saide to catch the corridor run. Iron Horse is located 3/4 mile down the corridor run from Mary Jane.
To get to the base of Mary Jane, you will have to be able to manage a blue trail. (just fyi)
You do also have the option to use the free shuttle offered by Town of Winter Park. Iron Horse Resort is on the “green line

Make sure you bring your swimsuits as this complex offers a year-round indoor/outdoor heated pool and two large outdoor hot tubs in addition to a fitness room with steam rooms and showers.

The unit provides two parking passes. Garage parking is for one vehicle on a first come first serve basis. There is a lost pass replacement fee.

For added convenience a full-service ski shop with rental options is located on the property. Washers and dryers are available on the second floor of the D building. Level 5 in the D building provides a room for ski storage and ski-in/ski-out access (green corridor). The free Lift bus also picks up frequently at the main entrance for easy shuttle service to the Village.

There is common ski storage located on the fifth floor of the D building, in the back of building near the doors to the corridor ski run. However, locks for rack are not provided. If you would like to buy a ski lock to secure skis here, you must go to front desk and they are available for $35. Note this specific lock/rack combination does not work for snowboards.

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

Winter Park Resort is only w miles away and the FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are 4.7 miles at Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store at Fraser is just 6.1 miles away.

Please note if you are arriving by train, there is no facility on-site for luggage storage.

  If you’re taller than 5’8 however the shower is a filled in bathtub, so it steps you up in the sky close to the ceiling. That was weird-but we could work with it.

  It was a great spot for a short weekend for snowboarding! They have everything you need from hot tub to a place to store your boards. It is walking distance from the village to grab food and drinks. The only thing is the room was a bit smaller then we thought and it is a tight fit for 4 ppl, but we managed.

This bus picked up right outside our unit and we were able to rent our skis right downstairs.   Me and my wife decided to stay in Winter Park for our honeymoon and our co fo was great! The town of winter park is small, but cute and offers great mountain biking and other fun activities. The only issue we had with our stay was the noise. During the summer they do a lot of renovations and our room was right beside the hot tubs that were under renovation, so we woke up to power tools and other noises every morning. Other than that 👍��

  The condo itself was very good. Clean, updated, everything we needed, and good location. The property was disappointing. Both hot tubs were closed for maintenance. The elevator was broke for at least a day. Parking garage C was closed for construction, so we had to park in D, which is a pain because the cat walk is on the 5th floor and our room was on the 4th floor of C. We were up and down stairs to get to our room, plus when the elevator quit, it made it worse. No need to go to the gym after all the stair climbing. Very inconvenient. We left 2 days early.

  The condo is small, but in overall good condition. The step up for the shower is pretty strange. Apparently you aren't supposed to ask the folks at the front desk any questions, which we didn't realize upon arrival. This information was provided on the refrigerator in the unit. Needless to say the front desk staff was not very friendly.
  
  The parking garage is only 6' 4" high, and on the garage it says it is 6'5" high. The materials online for the condo says the garage is 6'8" high. Our Chevy Tahoe with ski racks would not is about 6'6" tall with the ski rack on.

  The price tag is a little deceiving. Naturally, it says 55 a night but it comes out to more like 100 a night after cleaning fee, resort fee, large taxes etc. Regarding the place itself, it's very nice inside and out. The resort is great. It could use a little touching up however in regards to some of the kitchenware. They have some random stuff there too for food which is nice but still missing random needs it seems. Anyway, it's not bad for what it is.

Client paid $450 all in for 5 nights (=$90 pr night) Can't even get a motel room at Best Western for that price, and here one is getting a nice upgraded condo with many great additions and amenities. Brand new pots / pans in condo. Will go through rest of the kitchen ware to see what is missing / what needs replaced

  My husband and I stayed for 5 days and were very pleased with the property. Having never used Home Away before I brought some things with me, but most weren't needed. Atmosphere was comfy and inviting with beautiful view. Only drawback is that there is no door for the bathroom - just a sheer curtain. A little more privacy would be better. Overall very pleased with our stay.

  Our family of 4 stayed in C4053 this past weekend. The studio is beautiful and 99% complete. I would have given 4.5* for the general condition only because the door to the bathroom has not been installed and there are sheer curtains hanging where the door should be. This made things a little challenging for privacy with 2 teenage boys in the small space. Nick (property manager) assured me that the owner will have a door installed by the end of the season. We enjoy using Winter Park Management for our lodging needs when we visit Winter Park.

  This unit had clearly just went through a great remodel, although it wasn't quite complete. There were no towel bars hung yet. And kitchen was missing dish towels. The unit did not have parking pass (management helped with this) or checkout procedures. It will be a great unit for a couple when it is finished.

  We absolutely enjoyed our stay in C4053 at Iron Horse Resort. The condo was stocked with plenty of kitchen items to cook meals. The price was great!! The only recommendations I would give are getting an egg shell foam topper for sofa bed to provide comfort and have some pool towels available. The pool towels provided by the resort are super small. We absolutely look forward to staying here again!!!

  Overall we were very pleased with our stay! The condo was exactly what we expected. Our only complaint was that the fireplace was on when we arrived, so the room was extremely room. The unusual heat that week also didn't help. Charlotte and Nick were very helpful and brought us a fan. I do wish I realized there was no air conditioning and no ceiling fans. The amenities were quite nice, since we seemed to be one of the only guests!

No properties in the entire valley have A/C - and unfortunately these studios does not come with ceiling fans either.   Have stayed at Iron Horse in previous years.Like always I enjoyed the ski in ski out facilities and the on site ski shop.Very reasonably priced.On site restaurant is very lacking in the menu department and does not serve breakfast which I think would be a big asset.Heated parking very nice as usual.Did not deal with staff except to check-in.Check-in was a pleasant experience.Our room was clean and very well stocked with kitchen,bath supplies.The only really big disappointment was the murphy bed.Very uncomfortable.Needs new mattress.

  Overall, very nice experience. Great location. Had to inquire at the front desk with regards to the non-working parking garage door/hanging tarp. Unit was somewhat in disrepair - mismatched & non-working light bulbs throughout, ****** paint job in areas, bedding in cabinet ripped and dirty & stained pillows (did not want to touch!), could use additional arm chair in living, shower VERY slow to drain. Nice hot tub and pool!

  This unit was awesome. Great area, great resort, great condo, great price. Upon arrival, I was blown away by the unit given the price I paid. Kitchen was stocked with cooking supplies, spices, blender, coffee machine, along with some staples (coffee grounds, sugar, garbage bags, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc.).
  
  Nick and Charlotte were very quick to answer the emails I sent, and I didn't have any issues with the check in/out. If I ever find myself in this area again, I'll definitely be booking this unit again.

  This place was cute and a perfect size for a couple (you could even have 1-2 children if needed) but would not recommend 2 couples. Charlotte and Nick were so easy to work with. I highly recommend taking them up on their offer of discounted lift tickets if available - what a savings!
  
  The restaurant on site was decent but nothing to rave about. The walk to the slopes were a complete bonus. The hot tubs were great too - we could see them from our place so we knew when to head downstairs. We didn't rent a car and it was a piece of cake. Home James brought us from DIA and the local bus company took us everywhere we wanted to go. Such a great location and an enjoyable spot.
  
  Plus, my boyfriend proposed to me on the mountain so I am sure we will rent this place again in the future for the good memories! Thank you Charlotte and Nick!

  My wife, our two teenage daughters, and I stayed for 5 nights during the Christmas holidays. The location was great and the room was large enough for the 4 of us. There were only 2 things we did not like. You have to ski down a blue run (Mary Jane) to get to the Corridor run to access the property. If you are not comfortable with blue runs, then the ski in does not really work. Also, the sleeper sofa was not comfortable for 2 teenagers. The mattress needs to be replaced. Other than those two small issues, our stay was great.

  It was our first trip to Winter Park. I was very impressed how helpful and easygoing the property manager was. All my concerns were addressed in a very friendly and helpful manner considering that i was travelling with my 7-year old all by myself.
  The condo was very clean and the right size for two of us. It was very well equipped with the essential things to start the vacation, i.e. paper towels, soap, shampoo and etc.
  We liked the location very much. It is truly ski in/ski out place. Also, we just walked to the village if we did not see the shuttle. It might be 5 minute walk to all the shops and the restaurants.
  The big plus when you travel with kids is that it is very quiet. You might hear some giggles from the pool area , but the pool is closed at 10pm, and after that it feels that you are the only one in the building.
  Another big plus is the Bistro located at the main level. It has a very nice menu. Their spinach salad with Ahi Tuna was excellent in addition to kids' size pastas and other small platters. Good choice of beers!
  I would recommend this place to the families with kids, or anyone who is looking forward to a nice relaxed evening after the wonderful day of skiing.

  Overall, our vacation experience was very pleasant. We couldn't get in with the code (probably my fault), but Nick and Charlotte got us right in; eventhough it was very late in the evening. The condo was small, but clean & comfortable. It had everything we needed, & I the location was great. The balcony overlooks the pool area. We rented a car, but you can get around nicely on the shuttle. The equipment rental shop (on site) was accommodating and reasonable. We will stay here again when we are at Winter Park.

  The hot tubs are actually hot and the bartender checked on us regulary, keeping us happy. The very warm indoor/outdoor pool was nice to swim in, and was actually pleasant to get out of (inside the atrium). Nick and Charlotte were very attentive to my needs and easily accessible. I've been to Founder's Pointe and the Zephyr, and this place far surpasses them. Much quieter than those two, plus the amenities mentioned above. In addition, there is an onsite bar an restaurant with live music most of the nights
  I was there. Also, I feel my studio was really cute and updated, compared to some others I saw before renting. You will not be dissappointed!

  We had a great stay here at the Iron Horse. Being on the hill can't be beat. For the amount of time we were there it completely served our purposes. Wish we'd brought our bathing suits because the hot tub looked amazing after a day of skiing. Only two small complaints, the sofa bed was, well, a sofa bed. It could have been more comfortable and the tub didn't drain quickly enough for my tastes but other than that. Views of the mountains spectacular, sunrise and moonrise a delight. Well Equipped. How does it get any better??

  My two teenaged sons and I enjoyed our stay at the Iron Horse. The key for us was a comfortable place to stay close to the hill. Our unit satisfied these requirements. The murphy bed was comfortable--I was surprised that it had a box spring and mattress. The pull out sofa was not so comfortable, but was functional for a teenager. We rented our skis as the Ski Depot right on site. We were able to ski down to the main lifts in the morning with no trouble. Skiing back required some planning. We missed the lift we needed once, so we took the free shuttle bus from the base to the Iron Horse (5 minutes). Don't plan to ski in and out for lunch. The only quirky thing about the Unit was the heating system. The Unit is heated by the gas fireplace which turns on and off as needed to keep a constant temp, but it startled us to have the fire start up in the middle of the night. We should have asked for more blankets so that we could have left the heat off at night. We only had one thin blanket for each bed. But overall, we had a great stay and Nick (the manager) was very friendly and accommodating.

• We had a great time. Had some trouble with the lock but that could happen to anyone. Recomend for a couple.
