Relax in luxury in this remodeled 2 bedroom/3 bathroom top floor condo. Cathedral ceilings make it feel even more spacious than its already roomy 1500 square foot size. Upon entry you’ll find the first bedroom to your left. This bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed and full en-suite bathroom. Further down the hall is the guest bath then the primary suite. The primary bedroom has a king bedroom with open bath area. In hall way you have an additional full bathroom. The kitchen offers plenty of light and counterspace with its multiple windows and island bar. It opens into the dining and living area. The living room has a Murphy bed, sectional couch, flat screen TV, gas fireplace and plenty of skylights. You’ll find the place to be a home away from home. Full washer and dryer at unit.

Iron Horse is conveniently located right off the corridor trail (1/4 mile from the new Zephyr Gondola) and base activities. Easily return to the condo for lunch or to warm up.

For Winter reservations:
Iron Horse is located on the corridor run that connects the base of Mary Jane to the base of Winter Park.
This corridor run (marked as a green run on the trail map) is about 1 mile long. Base of Mary Jane sits higher (elevation wise) than base of Winter Park.
From Iron Horse you ski down 1/4 mile to base of Winter Park, and to ski home you must go over the Mary Jane saide to catch the corridor run. Iron Horse is located 3/4 mile down the corridor run from Mary Jane.
To get to the base of Mary Jane, you will have to be able to manage a blue trail. (just fyi)
You do also have the option to use the free shuttle offered by Town of Winter Park. Iron Horse Resort is on the “green line

Make sure you bring your swimsuits as this complex offers a year-round indoor/outdoor heated pool and two large outdoor hot tubs in addition to a fitness room with steam rooms and showers.

For added convenience a full-service ski shop with rental options is located on the property. Washers and dryers are available on the second floor of the D building. Level 5 in the D building provides a room for ski storage and ski-in/ski-out access (green corridor). The free Lift bus also picks up frequently at the main entrance for easy shuttle service to the Village.

With this rental you have access to 1-car private garage (few steps away from the buiding) with keyless access, plus 1 additional outdoor permitted parking space to accommodate guests with two vehicles. Outdoor parking is on a first come first serve basis. Additional vehicles are not permitted. There is a fee for lost or missing parking pass

NO SMOKING or PETS allowed.

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

    Great place. Spacious. Perfect for a family of skiers. This Iron Horse Unit is on Building J...you need to take a short walk to building D then take elevator to 5th floor and go out to Corridor run..a green run that will take you all the way to village and Gondola. so is basically a ski in ski out type of deal. Would definitely stay here again. 5 stars for sure!!

    The space is wonderful. Very large living room and kitchen. Three full bathrooms gives you lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is very clean and well stocked. We were able to cook most meals here without having to go to restaurants. The room is very brightly lit with sunlights.
    It is ski in/ski out with an asterisk. The Iron Horse condo complex has an entry point on the Corridor run in building D’s 5th floor. This unit is several buildings over so you have to carry gear to other building, go up elevator, then out to the ski run. And it’s pretty flat there, so we had to pole quite a bit to get to the gondola. Not a big deal, just don’t expect Stein Erickson where you walk 20 feet out of the ski locker to a mid mountain run. There is no ski in ski out like that in Winter Park.
    Management was very responsive and came to shovel the balcony and walkways after a big snow dump.

    We had a great week in the condo. We under-estimated how large this was and family members rented another unit in Iron Horse, but we could have easily fit the whole family. The living room is, if anything, larger than it looks in the pictures, the primary bedroom is HUGE and the second bedroom is also a nice size. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted to prepare meals. So easy to ski down Corridor at the start of the day. Mary Jane run to come “home” can be a challenge for your green-blue skiers but anyone solidly blue should get down it just fine (it’s always groomed every day, but sometimes gets a bit icy and navigating the top can get a little tricky). Loved the hot tubs and the indoor-outdoor pool - which had indoor hooks where you could hang towels/robes so they stayed warm while you soak! Beds were comfy and condo was clean. Only “negative” is the building is showing its age a bit and the living room windows can be a tiny bit drafty - we just made sure to keep the fireplace lit and it was all cozy (and there were plenty of throw blankets to cuddle up) - and that only 1 parking permit for the unit (this is clearly noted in the listing, not dinging the company at all - just wish there were 2 spots for a 2BR unit). Management company was very responsive. Great value! We will definitely rent here again.

    Went for a long weekend with our kids (8, 10) and really loved the layout and amenities of this space. The condo was so clean, spacious, cozy, nicely decorated, and well stocked (plenty of dishware, utensils, appliances, etc.) that it made life so easy. The location so close to the ski hill was awesome. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our kids, but the hot tubs were not hot the second half of our stay (and turned my blondest kid's hair bright green!) but that is not an issue with this particular condo. Thank you for leaving things like games, coffee pods, dish soap, shampoo/conditioner dispensers - such nice touches that make it all the more easy and convenient.

I (Charlotte) am born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark (blonde hair / blue eyes), and as a child my parents constantly fought same issue when we went on vacation 'cause I spent SO much time in the pools on hotels we stayed at, that I always came home with greenish hair due to too much exposure to chlorine *smile. I have today asked the HOA to double check the chlorine level on the hot tubs & pool, to make sure that it is all levelled correctly.     This condo was clean and spacious. I would not stay there again due to the following: it's on the top floor and in a dark corner that's not well lit; parking is not covered so expect to dig your car out every day; owner did not leave a shovel for tenant; walk to hot tub is too far; cooking pans were old, scratched, and rusty; can't access deck since no shovel; door to deck does not latch well. This would be a better place to stay in the Summer than in the Winter.

We have made sure that a shovel has been left on the balcony:) and we have also asked owner to look at the pots & pan situation. The door not latching has also been addressed, but it is an ongoing issue as ice builds up and we constantly have to try to chisel it away.     The condo was in a nice facility with fairly convenient access to the slope. About 100 yard outside walk, 2 elevator rides, 50 yard inside walk and 1 flight of outside steps and you’re on the green Corridor run. Ski access to the base is a bit flat, so be prepared to push a lot and beginning skiers should plan their trip down. Mary Jane run can be challenging.

    The facilities were closed due to covid which is understandable. I was disappointed however that there were zero staff at the condo building at all. As a first timer, I expected at least a front office staff to be available for a few logistical questions to help guide us. We survived without but it took us a few days to figure bus schedules, slope access, equipment storage etc. So don’t expect much help from anyone and be ready to figure things out on your own.

    The condo itself was sizable, well maintained and plenty of kitchen equipment. The unit itself is dated but it’s been modernized. The heat and lighting is a challenge to figure out but we learned it in a few days.

    One caution, the owner must own a cat or a shedding dog. One of my family members is terribly allergic and they dreaded being inside the condo by the end of our 5 days there. All was fine when outside. A the extra blankets were fresh but covered in pet hair. So beware if anyone has allergies.

    The unit was above our expectations and convenient to Winter Park/Fraser. The beds where very comfortable, updated kitchen with everything you need and spacious. Very quiet neighborhood with lots of amenities. There is a pocket sliding door that can be used to close off the living room where the Murphy Bed is to allow for a bit more privacy if you have someone needing to utilized it as a "3rd bedroom". This is a fantastic place to stay whatever the season. Highly recommended!!!

    We love Winter Park, and believe it to be a hidden gem. We also love skipping the traffic through the Eisenhower tunnel - it makes the trip so much more enjoyable.

    This is the second Iron Horse Condo I’ve stayed at, and I will request this specific one again next time. I couldn’t believe how bright and open it was. It was remodeled and felt like a home, not like a rental. We will be back for sure!

    Very spacious condo with beautiful high ceilings and a cozy feel. The heat was hard to regulate but the management company brought space heaters which helped immensely. The unit has old baseboard electric heating. We had 6 people in this condo and the three bathrooms were really nice to have. The oven needs some attention - we had trouble getting it to cook our food right. Overall we were really happy. The bedding in the master is nice and the bed was very comfortable.

    We had a good stay. Location was great and place was clean with plenty of space for my family to relax and unwind after skiing. The 2nd bedroom skylight was directly over a bed and the outside light from the hallway (bldg J) shone in and so my son needed to switch to a different bed to fall asleep. Also, no recycling. We would stay here again.

    Lovely and spacious condo with a convenient location to WP Village. Very clean and accommodating! Didn't really have a property management contact, so wasn't a positive or negative. Would definitively recommend and stay there again!

    Condo is clean, plenty of space. This unit has many skylights in sleeping areas so it's tough to find darkness if you need it to sleep well. Outdoor spa and pool were nice. Maintenance guy was super nice. Cleaning fee required but you are required to basically clean up before leaving.

    We are a group of guys that skis different resorts every year. This was our second time skiing Winter Park, and this condo fit our needs perfectly. Ski in/out convenience, and the third full bathroom with murphy bed makes this condo a bargain.

    We have stayed at Iron Horse before ,so we knew the unit would be nice. The only minor complaints are the tv in the master bedroom din't work and there isn't a view of the mountains.

    Members of our organization went up to the Iron Horse Resort and stayed in several condos managed by WPM. All of us were very impressed. The staff was incredibly friendly and all of us had an enjoyable experience here. We specifically had condos 4113, 5108, 2309, 3309, and 4209, and all were pristine. There is a reason we keep coming back year after year.

    Condo is conveniently located very near the base of winterpark, close enought to ski out of or you can take the shuttle bus to the base of winterpark. Overall the unit is very nice, with one exception. We could not get the Master Bedroom to Warm up at all with the radiant heat that is in there. All the other rooms warmed up quickly, but over the course of an entire week, we could never get the Master Bedroom Warm.

    Great family rental. We love the location, love the place. Only drawbacks were that the TV in the master bedroom was not working. This was taken care of pretty quickly. Also, in one of the bedrooms, there were a lot of supplies like blankets, towels, etc. This made it difficult to use the closet. Other than that, it was awesome! Thank you!
