Hot Tub Renovation Project Tentative Schedule: The anticipated Start date is April 29th, 2024.
Project work hours are 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday.
It will be noisy and dusty during demolition.
(The hot tub project will be ongoing throughout the spring, summer, and fall with an anticipated completion date late in the fall.)

Inside this beautiful condo, you will find accommodations for five. There is a king bed in the primary bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the family room (sleeps 2) and an ottoman that folds out to be a twin bed. The condo has cable TV both in the living room and bedroom. Finish the day in front of the gas fireplace or enjoying the views from your private balcony. Enjoy cooking in a full-size kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops. This unit is located on the far end of the hallway which should make it quieter as there’s less foot traffic than units closer to the elevator.

8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Founders Pointe offers a large outdoor hot tub with fantastic views and BBQ's are located on the amenity deck in the center of the horseshoe-shaped building. Guests also have the opportunity to purchase a parking spot in the attached heated parking garage

Parking fee outside ski-season is free
Parking fee during ski-season $21/ per vehicle per day).

Winter Park Resort base village includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 4.1 miles away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 5.6 miles away at Fraser the town of Fraser.

NO SMOKING or PETS allowed.

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

For our fellow mountain bike lovers: we are very sorry, but management does not allow bicycles stored inside condos or on balconies. To prevent mud and chain oil damage to our carpets, as well as handle bar scratches on the walls; we must kindly ask you to not store bikes inside the condo. We are working with the HOA of all our properties to figure out bike storage in the long term as our mountain sports grow in popularity. Thank you for your understanding.

  Our family of 5 (3 young kids) stayed in this condo over winter break and planned to ski everyday. This fit our needs perfectly! We didn't need a lot of space, because we planned on spending our time on the slopes and in town. The condo was merely a place to sleep. The convenient location and large locker made it easy for us to change skis as needed and we could easily stop back to the condo for lunch or a snack. It is a bit small if you're looking for space to spread out in the condo and the parking entrance/exit was a little touchy. We did figure out the parking and it worked perfectly... just had to use the reservation code instead of the QR code. We were concerned about the clearance in the parking garage with a Yukon and ski box, but we did have plenty of clearance, which was a huge relief as parking is tight in this area. Overall, we were incredibly pleased with the property and the owners were quick to respond and answer any questions we had along the way.

  We stayed in this unit for a few days in early March. Skiing was great and it was nice that the main lift was just a short walk away. We liked the building overall - had ample parking and nice amenities.
  
  The description for this unit says it's for up to 5 ppl, but there were just two of us and I think it would have felt very crowded if there were 5 ppl staying there. The furnishings were quite worn and the lamps were wonky (they need to be repaired or replaced). We had hoped to be able to watch a couple of movies on Netflix, but weren't able to do so because the unit didn't have smart TVs (and we didn't want to watch them on a laptop). For the most part, the unit was clean and tidy when we arrived, with the exception of pots and pans which all needed a good scrubbing. If we decided to stay @ Founder's Place again, we'd most likely try to find a unit that is a bit more updated.

We did everything we could to make your trip pleasant including early check in / later check out etc. We will try to talk to the owner about replacing the TV (however not sure how successful we will be) Maybe we can see if we can add a Firestick to solve the important issue of having Netflix as an option.

  Pretty classic cheap ski rental, nothing special but does the trick. Some ratty furniture and broken things (window screens) but no deal breakers. The building is wacky though. Parking QR code was incredibly finicky and took many tries each time to get in or out. The elevators are on the far side of the building from the unit so it's not very convenient to get to the main entrance or the hot tub area. Room/entry codes are comically long as well.

    Thanks for staying with us and taking time to write about your stay. We will get the window screens & furniture checked out and make needed replacement & repair right away. Unfortunately the parking garage entry / exit is controlled by a 3rd party. We did check with the HOA to see if there were a widespread issue with the scanner, and was told that everything was working as it should. Agree that the system can be a little finicky and that if you do not scan your way, that you will have issues when you try to scan your way out (as system does not have you recorded as vehicle being inside the garage) Same goes if you do not scan your way out, it will not allow you to scan your way in (as the system still have your vehicle as being inside the garage) It is written in the check in instructions that it is important that you do not tailgate your way in / your way out, but I will make sure that we re-read our instructions to see if there is a way to improve the wording of our instructions. The elevators are on the other side of the other hallway (about 1 min walk). Stairs to get to the hot tub (1 floor below) is about 15 seconds away from the condo. The entry code to the condo is 7 digits and I can see that it may not always be convenient, but unfortunately that is how the HOA have the system set up - for security and safety of guests of the complex. Does not sound like you had the greatest experience, and for that I am very sorry.

  The location of this unit is amazing and easy access to everything! However, the beds are awful. We tried the master and the pullout and slept very little the entire time. The first night the temp in the room was great, however the other nights, we had to open doors or windows to get it below 75 to sleep.
  The hot tub was amazing! All utensils were supplied in the kitchen and easy to locate. Unit was clean inside.

  9 of us rented 3 units at Winter Park. My son and I had this unit but it ended up that we hosted the other families for meals in our unit. It was well equipped, clean, and of course DIRECT access to the gondola after a short walk (easily done in ski boots).
  
  My family was affected by the Marshall Fires (2022) in Colorado which meant I contacted the renters more frequently than a normal human would. They were always available, quick with a response, and very helpful. I greatly appreciate their time and efforts.

  The condo was very nice. Clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for 5 days skiing and cooking meals. It is not ski in/out but I knew that; about 150 yards from the gondola. There was enough space for 2 of us. The corner condo squeezes the living area down and might have been tight for 5. Hot tub is large but not really bubbling jets. Ski lockers are helpful. There was a light stain on one of the sheets. I'm not really offended by that but I know some people are. If management reads this the kitchen faucet seems to be leaking a little and might cause a problem if the sink stopper is left in. I appreciated the extra hour to check out.

  Nice place. The property was accurately described by management and they were very responsive to our needs. Good location, but definitely a walk in ski boots and with equipment. Parking was great. Didn't earn 5 stars because we lacked some linens for the pull outs and toiletries in the shower were not labeled. We would stay there again.

  Description of property was accurate and condo was nice, clean and updated. Appreciated having cooking supplies available. Bedroom got very hot, even with sleeping w/ the window open. There is no ceiling fan, which I would recommend, and the box fan that is provided did not produce much air. Even though we had the heat turned down to 55 degrees, the condo stayed around 69 degrees for some reason. Also, it is labeled as ski in ski out, but it's a pretty good walk to the gondola. You have to walk across the street and through the village, which is not fun in ski boots. Everything about the condo itself was very nice though.

  Just steps from the village of Winter Park Resort. This unit is perfectly suited for your every need. Nice balcony to sit or grill on as well. The hot tub gets a little noisy but it settles down around 10pm. So much to do we never turned on the TV's.

  We had an AWESOME visit to Winter Park for our family of four! The only reason I gave it four stars on satisfaction was that our grill had no propane gas for the first night--- which was disappointing as we were planning to grill. HOWEVER! I called the management and they had a new tank of gas to us the next day. The condo was in great condition and it was perfect for our family of four. I would highly recommend and would stay again!
