This home will be your true mountain paradise with stunning mountain tree views out every window! Nestled in the forest, this spacious four bedroom home offers a true mountain getaway. This home sleeps nine. The extensive kitchen offers a gourmet range, island, sitting area and large bar in addition to a large dining table that seats six. The kitchen opens up to a light adorned morning room with extensive forest views. In the family room, a grand wood burning fireplace with views of the forest and a flat screen TV with Firestick so you can stream TV using your own apps. All will enjoy the beautiful private hot tub on the back deck.

The primary bedroom is located on the main floor and features a queen bed with en-suite bath. On the second floor, you will find three additional bedrooms: Bedroom 2 - queen bed with en-suite bath. Bedroom 3 features two twin beds and shares a full bath with Bedroom, 4th bedroom which has one double and one twin bed. Each bed in this unit is triple sheeted meaning we create a duvet cover around the comforter using sheets. This cover then gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.

Note: No AC at this property

For your added convenience and enjoyment this home has an attached two car garage, washer/dryer and is surrounded by the tranquility of the forest.

Pls note that there are no TV capabilities in the bedrooms.
Upgrades coming later this year so guests can enjoy Direct TV in living room and TV's in bedrooms with Firesticks.

We strongly encourage guests traveling to Grand County to keep up with the latest updates regarding fire restrictions in our area. We do not allow any open fire on property or use of the fire place as it a real wood fireplace. Use of propane BBQ is allowed

Winter Park Resort is only 10 minutes away and the FREE resort shuttle will drop you off right in the middle of the resort base village which includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are 2.1 miles at Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar.

  Had a wonderful time staying here with a family of 5. Plenty of room to spread out and the hot tub was a nice touch, especially after a day of skiing/snowboarding! You definitely feel like you are out of town and in the woods, but it’s less than a 5 min drive to town or to the ski resort. Not a skier? Then take a hike outside the house as there are a number of trails within 50 yards of the front door. Fraser is only 10-15 min away for tubing or getting groceries at Safeway. Great access to The Lift, which is the bus system for visiting around town (will also take you to the ski resort). Kitchen was well stocked and washer/dryer was convenient. I highly recommend this location, we will stay here again when we come to Winter Park!

The house is in such a convenient location, close to all the activities that make Winter Park such a great place. Overall it was the perfect spot for us to enjoy the long weekend.

  This is a great house that needs a smidge of updating- there are screens missing from some of the bedroom windows, so be careful which ones you open. The access to the experimental forest is extraordinary- literally out the back door! Nice kitchen for cooking in and very, very clean. the bathrooms are not well lit, so if you have older people or visually challenged folks take note. and there wasn't a garage door opener available to us, but we stored our bikes in the garage, so that was terrific.

  The setting was very good as was the convenience to town and the slopes. The kitchen well stocked with quality pots, pans and dishes. Dining room and sitting room were very nice as was the living room. The living room was not thoroughly cleaned. Crumbs on the lamp stand and not well vacuumed. The bedroom should be updated. The upstairs bedroom had a queen mattress on a king frame and was uncomfortable. Towels were in short supply but they said the laundry was late which I understand. They later delivered more. The two car garage was rendered down to one with one side full of trash, old appliances and covered furniture. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. Would we stay again? Probably but we’d check out other places first. It was a lot of money but given the timing of our visit I suppose it was justified.

  Easy to get to and from Mary Jane and WinterPark Ski Resorts. I recommend accessing from Mary Jane side; parks are connected and Mary Jane had shorter lines, better parking. Grocery store was easy 8mi drive down 40 toward Fraser.
  
  Beautiful deadend street. Location of an active Trailhead so lots of hikers and dog walkers coming and going. Recommend nature walk.
  
  House itself was spacious but somewhat dated. The 2 Master bedrooms were large but secondary bedrooms were cramped for more than 2 children. Open concept, but no real place for kids to hang out separate from adults and bedrooms were too small. We had two families.
  
  Kitchen was huge but poorly organized and lacking assorted knives and appliances such as hand mixer, blender, large cooking pots.
  
  Most notably missing, outdoor grill. Wood for fireplace.
  Plenty of parking and prompt snow removal.
  
  Smooth check in, detailed instructions from Management Co prior to arrival, had no major issues, so never contacted them outside of email.
  
  Beware of the hidden "service fee" from VRBO. It showed up on my credit card as a separate line item and is based on % of your rental. When you are splitting costs with another family make sure you factor that in.

  The place is very nice and worked well for our group 7 adults and 3 kids. It was very cozy and we loved the view of the forested back yard. It was an easy and quick drive to the slopes. We had to call the management about a few problems. Within a few hours a maintenance man showed up and took care of the problems. We never did figure out the tv and we had an engineer with us but it may have been something with the cable/satellite company. I would definitely stay here again.

  A large comfortable house for families. Location is great near restaurants, bus stop not far. Bedrooms, showers and living area really good and spacious.
  Oven in the kitchen not brilliant, but it does work. Probably need a new one.
  Would definately stay there again as it was so spacious. There was 7 of us all together and it worked really well. Thank you. We loved the massive chair in the dining area!!

  Beautiful place, outstanding accommodations. Very roomy and comfortable. Cleanup group was late, we had hungry and crabby little children and the place was 2 hours late being ready. Code lock box does not work. We could only get one TV (out of 4) to work, but in fairness to the management company, we never called for help. Had a problem with the oven that the management company promptly had fixed. Memory-foam beds were not very comfortable. We consider these issues minor but things the management would want to know about. Overall, we loved the place and would stay again in a heart beat.

    Thanks for taking your time to write about your stay. We had hoped that the property would have been ready when guest came in around 3 pm. Guest is accurate that our crew was late, but only 1 hour. Guest that left same day left property in a TRULY messy condition, and it took a crew of 5/FIVE people 3 and a half hour to clean the house!! I will (first thing tomorrow morning) go to the house and see what the problem is with the TV's. Foam beds and blow up beds are not known for being the most comfortable beds, but we do feel that there is a greater chance of a full night of sleep on a foam mattress vs a blow up bed loosing air through out the night:)
