Zephyr Mountain Lodge # 1706

This spacious penthouse condo features three bedrooms, including two master suites each with king beds and a bunk room with 2 twin-over-twin bunk beds, accommodating up to eight guests comfortably.

After a day on the slopes, relax in front of the large stone gas fireplace and enjoy your favorite show on the flat-screen TV. The vaulted ceiling and skylights create a bright, open, and peaceful mountain ambiance. The well-equipped kitchen features granite countertops and everything you need for home-cooked meals. A washer and dryer are conveniently located in the unit.

The primary bedroom features a king-size bed, TV, closet, and an ensuite bathroom. At the opposite end of the condo, the second bedroom also offers a king bed, closet, and TV, with a bathroom conveniently located just across the hallway. The spacious third bedroom includes two twin-over-twin bunk beds, a TV, dresser, and an ensuite bathroom. Living room with a sleeper sofa.

This property uses the Triple Sheet Method, a hotel-style system where two sheets encase the comforter, creating a fresh, hygienic duvet cover that is washed between every guest for an extra-clean sleeping experience.

Zephyr Mountain Lodge has four hot tubs, a fitness room, heated underground parking, onsite ski shops and is located in The Village which features great restaurants, Starbucks, Ice skating rink (seasonal), and tubing hill (seasonal). A coin operated washer and dryer are located on each floor. This condo is located on 7th floor in Slopeside building facing The Village & The Continental Divide.

Hot tub hours: 8 am to 10 pm (Mon through Sun)

Heated attached underground parking will keep you and your vehicle out of the elements (parking fee during ski-season $30/ per vehicle per day). Ski locker is included.

Please note that bicycles are not permitted inside property elevators, condos, or on balconies. This policy helps prevent mud, oil, and wall damage. The HOA provides enclosed bike storage cages located in the underground parking garage, monitored by multiple security cameras for added safety..

The Village at Winter Park offers year-round fun: ski lifts, mountain biking, tubing, hiking, dining, shopping, and seasonal entertainment. All right outside your door. For even more recreation, visit the Grand Park Rec Center just 4.1 miles away, featuring pools, a waterslide, climbing wall, gym, and playground. Nearby, The Foundry offers bowling, movies, and wood-fired pizza. A Safeway grocery store is just 5.6 miles away in Fraser.

  Great stay. Location is perfect. Check in and out was good. We had a group of 8. The kids bunk room was great. Overall the condo was fine but definitely needs to be freshened up a bit. The stove burners were hard to cook on and the dryer door would close properly. Furniture was old and tired. We were there to ski and you can’t get a better location. Overall we had a great time.

  A wonderful condo for families needing multiple bedrooms--lots of room for everyone to spread out and have a little space to themselves. This unit was the perfect place to come back to at the end of a long day of skiing. Just ski up to the door, put your skis in the ski locker and head upstairs to your unit on the top floor. A quick dinner of spaghetti or a lasagna cooking in the oven as you relax in the Zephyr's hot tub. Heaven! The kitchen was moderately stocked with items such as coffee and a few spices. The bathrooms were large and had shampoo and body wash dispensers along with hair dryers (less things to pack!). You can't beat this location!

The village area has a lot to offer but with the social distancing it was sometimes harder to get in the restaurants right away.   The condo is in a great location, near to the elevators, and to the slopes. Yo walk out the door from the ski storage room, put on your skies, and ski to the gondola. At the end of the day, you have your choice of three different ways to get back to the door. A true ski in /ski out. The condo itself was great for a family with grandparents.   Loved the location. Close to the slopes. Great customer service. But, hardly slept at all due to low quality, overused foam mattresses. You would sink so far ito the unsupportive mattress, you could feel the wood frame.

  Everything was ready for us when we arrived, parking was a breeze, the condo was beautiful and comfortable (a bit warm, but we stayed over labor day. I'm guessing this is less of a problem during ski season). Didn't like the sheets-- they used extra long on the twin bunk beds and they didn't fit, so the beds got dissheveled really easily and I ended up sleeping on the mattress. Winter Park is great, I stayed with a group of friends for a wedding.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Zephyr. The place was nice and clean and spacious for a family of 8. Being right by the lift was awesome for our experienced skiers. Walking all the way down to the magic carpets was hard for our beginners not used to the altitude - but there's not a better place to be at Winter Park.   We decided at the last minute to stay overnight for a day ski and was happy to find this place available for one night. The rental property was very nice and the price of the stay reasonable. I did find the $150 cleaning fee for one night's stay a bit high. The elevators are definitely a problem, sometimes waited up to 10 minutes to get one. Avoid staying on the higher floors unless you like waiting or walking down many flights of stairs.

I understand that it sounds high with a $145 cleaning fee for one night, but many people think that this fee is "only" to cover time to clean the unit. We do also provide linens and towels for up to 10 people, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, dishwasher soap, shampoo / conditioner ...and much more:) I do however understand where guest is coming from when they mention the fee, but we try to "adjust" on the rent of it, so people renting 1 night only. The entire building did have problems with the elevator over New Years. A very unfortunate time to have 1 of 2 elevators out of order!! I also understand where guest is coming from on this matter. Unfortunately there is nothing we, Winter Park Management, can do about it when Otis (elevator company) is on "Winter Break"

Some recent updates to the unit made the stay more pleasant. The only negative was, at the time, the stall shower in one bathroom had a constant drip. Other than that one issue is was a excellent rental.

  Just spent three nights at this property and absolutely loved it. The unit had three bedrooms with three large bathrooms. Two, twin bunks in the back bedroom weere perfect for our four kids! Kitchen was well stocked and had newer appliances.
  
  Charlotte is the property manager and she was very professional, prompt and courteous. I asked if the unit had a crock pot and when we arrived, there was one sitting on the counter.
  
  Only negative was the fireplace did not work.
  
  Overall a great ski/ski out unit and can't beat the price. We'll be back!!!!
